Yoga Basics is a low intensity and soothing yoga class. The postures are held for several breaths to allow students to focus on their alignment and build strength, flexibility, and balance. A great option for any age, but not recommended for those with limited mobility.

This therapeutic class will focus on recognizing, exploring, and fostering the mind/body connection. Slow, thoughtful movement guided by the breath to open space for healing the mind, body, spirit, and heart. A beautiful practice for those suffering from chronic conditions. Recommended for all ages and mobilities.

Flow & Yin

This class is a sweet blend of Yin yoga and Vinyasa flow. This practice begins with longer held yin postures to allow the body to work deeper in the connective tissues and release store tension. Then it migrates into a breath filled vinyasa flow to build strength and balance. These two styles balance the yin and the yang to bring peace and openness in the mind and body.

Sadhana

This practice is focused on careful alignment and intelligent sequencing, great for both beginners and experienced yogis alike. Harriet studied under the late Senior Iyengar teacher Karin O'Bannon, and this class is deeply influenced by her legacy. This practice is accessible for all ages and mobility levels.

An early morning class to kick start your day. This class will nourish your body with flowing postures that energize and inspire you. Great for yogis of all ages and levels of practice, but not recommended for those with limited mobility.

Energetic Flow/Energetic Vinyasa

This is a physically challenging class designed to build heat and produce sweat, which expels toxins and re-energizes the body. Both practices will move through vigorous warm-ups, standing and balance poses before hitting the floor for inversions and back arches. The difference between Flow and Vinyasa will be the use of Vinyasa transitions. This class is great for those with a developed yoga practice or who are looking to advance their current practice.

Vinyasa Basics

Vinyasa Basics slows down the flow of a Vinyasa class allowing students to focus on alignment and learning the postures of Vinyasa in an approachable and fun environment. Perfect for all levels of yoga, but not recommended for those with limited mobility.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga targets deep connective tissues of the body including the skeletal system, ligaments, joints, and fascial networks. Stress is applied to the various tissues through long-held poses that encourage the muscles to relax, while allowing gravity to "do the work".

Morning Stretch is the perfect way to wake up, restore, and renew the body. Slow, gentle postures will be explored with an emphasis on finding length and depth in the poses.

Ashtanga yoga is a traditional yoga practice popularized by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois from Mysore, India. This powerful, healing practice is a specific sequence of postures (asanas) linking breath (pranayama) with movement (vinyasa) whose method gives practical experience of the 8 limbs of yoga. In a safe and nurturing environment, you will learn yoga postures in a flowing sequence and experience new potential in strength, stamina and flexibility. Both Half and Primary series are guided sessions.
